Encyclopedia of the Bible and Its Reception
The Encyclopedia of the Bible and Its Reception (EBR) pursues the twofold task of 1) comprehensively recording the current knowledge of the origins and development of the Bible in its Jewish and Christian canonical forms and 2) documenting the history of the Bible's reception in Judaism and Christianity as evident in exegetical literature, theological and philosophical writings of various genres, literature, liturgy, music, the visual arts, dance, and film, as well as in Islam and other religious traditions and contemporary movements.

Announcing federated searching of library databases
The library has introduced a new and improved interface for searching our databases. The new interface, powered by WebFeat, permits simultaneous searching across multiple databases. To search a single database, click on the underlined name. To search across multiple databases, use the check box to the left of the database name to select those you wish to explore. Let us know what you think about this new interface.

PTS announces Microsoft initiative
Princeton Theological Seminary and Microsoft Corporation have entered into an agreement to digitize a large number of materials in the public domain from the collection of the Seminary library. This initiative will enable the library to contribute religion content to Microsoft’s Live Search Books service and thus increase worldwide access to its historic religion collection.
