PTS announces Microsoft initiative
Princeton Theological Seminary and Microsoft Corporation have entered into an agreement to digitize a large number of materials in the public domain from the collection of the Seminary library. This initiative will enable the library to contribute religion content to Microsoft’s Live Search Books service and thus increase worldwide access to its historic religion collection.

Thirty Minutes Skill Sessions Spring 2008
Wondering how to access the marvels of the seminary library? Come to one or all of these sessions to learn how to utilize these databases or simply come to refresh your researching skills. Each session will be offered on a Tuesday evening and Wednesday afternoon. We will concentrate on a different database each week. You will learn: How to effectively conduct searches in a particular database How to increase the number of relevant hits How to view, print, and email citation information and/or full-text articles How to find articles that are not available online Sessions will last for approximately 30 minutes with ample time for questions and individualized attention after. All sessions will be held in either the Armstrong Assembly Room located in Luce Library or the Cooper Conference Room located in the Erdman Conference Center. Lesser’s 'revised edition' represents a complete reworking of Thomas H. Johnson's 1940 bibliography and nearly doubles its size. Here readers will find complete documentation of every publication of Jonathan Edwards’s writings. This volume will be the standard bibliography for decades to come. A copy belongs in every library with an interest in research on America’s first great thinker.

Announcing the Digital Library of Karl Barth
In association with the Theologischer Verlag Zürich (TVZ) and Princeton Theological Seminary, Alexander Street Press is pleased to offer the first major online collection of Karl Barth's works. Combining comprehensiveness with a carefully crafted set of text-analysis tools, The Digital Karl Barth Library will support a new generation of research into the works of one of the twentieth century's most influential theologians. The current release features the first 36 volumes of Barth's Gesamtausgabe, originally published under the TVZ imprint. Among the works included in the Gesamtausgabe are hundreds of letters, sermons, lectures, conversations, and academic writings. New content, including Barth's monumental Kirchliche Dogmatik, will be added on a quarterly basis. The Digital Library of Karl Barth is currently accessible to all students at Princeton Theological Seminary.
