		<item><title>Thirty Minutes Skill Sessions Spring 2008</title><description>Wondering how to access the marvels of the seminary library?  Come to one or all of these sessions to learn how to utilize these databases or simply come to refresh your researching skills.  Each session will be offered on a Tuesday evening and Wednesday afternoon.  We will concentrate on a different database each week.  

 You will learn: 

How to effectively conduct searches in a particular database 
How to increase the number of relevant hits 
How to view, print, and email citation information and/or full-text articles 
How to find articles that are not available online 
 Sessions will last for approximately 30 minutes with ample time for questions and individualized attention after.  All sessions will be held in either the Armstrong Assembly Room located in Luce Library or the Cooper Conference Room located in the Erdman Conference Center. 		<item><title>Announcing the Digital Library of Karl Barth</title><description>In association with the Theologischer Verlag Zürich (TVZ) and Princeton Theological Seminary, Alexander Street Press is pleased to offer the first major online collection of Karl Barth's works. Combining comprehensiveness with a carefully crafted set of text-analysis tools, The Digital Karl Barth Library will support a new generation of research into the works of one of the twentieth century's most influential theologians. The current release features the first 36 volumes of Barth's Gesamtausgabe, originally published under the TVZ imprint. Among the works included in the Gesamtausgabe are hundreds of letters, sermons, lectures, conversations, and academic writings. New content, including Barth's monumental Kirchliche Dogmatik, will be added on a quarterly basis.
