When sending an SC (Barth, Kuyper, Moffett) book out for binding follow these procedures:

  • Catalog the book
  • Print out two copies of the catalog page (with call number)
  • Decide if book should be bound with cover or without
    • Put note on book with your choice
  • Put one copy of catalog page in book to be bound
    • Circle right call number if there are multiples
  • Put one copy of catalog page into folder for your records
  • Give book to Beverley

When books return:

  • Review your records to make sure all books are returned, use the printed date on your sheet to remind Beverley when you gave her the book for binding.

General Notes:

  • If a book cannot be bound without photocopying - then it is to be returned to SC in as-is condition for staff to decide how to catalog and preserve the material.
